(1 + \frac{1}{x} ) \times 2 = (1 - \frac{1}{x}) \times 4

( \frac{x + 1}{x}) \times 2 = (\frac{x - 1}{x} ) \times 4

 \frac{2x + 2}{x} = \frac{4x - 4}{x}

x(2x + 2) = x(4x - 4)

2x^{2} + 2x = 4x^{2} - 4x

4x^{2} - 2x^{2} - 4x - 2x = 0

2x^{2} - 6x = 0

Divide by X on both sides

2x - 6 = 0

2x = 6

x = \frac{6}{2}

x = 3

\underline\bold{So ,the\: value\: of\: x\: is \:3\::}
