Answer:

No...that's not a good idea as it may catch fire when fire accidentally falls on his shirt during poping crackers...so he must wear a cotton shirt or t shirt as it is a bad conductor of heat

No, it is not a good idea for the following reason-

  • Synthetic fibres like polyester and nylon catch fire very easily. The reason lies in their composition. Being artificial polymer fibres, contact with fire or very hot objects causes them to burn, shrink and even melt.
  • It is for this reason that cloth hanging ropes, which are mostly made of nylon fibre, tend to melt into a liquid when they are put into the fire.
  • Raj wants to wear a shirt made of synthetic fibres for Diwali. Now, Diwali is a festival where there is fire everywhere in the form of diyas, crackers and candles.
  • If Raj's shirt accidentally happens to come in contact with fire, which it very possibly can on such a festival, there is a high possibility that he will get seriously hurt since the shirt would be up in flames very easily.
  • Hence, it is not a good idea for Raj to wear a shirt made of synthetic fibres for Diwali.
