multiply both sides by 10.

10 * x = 10 * 1.26666666...

10x = 12.66666666...

subtract (1) from (2)

10x - x = 12.6666666... - 1.26666666...

9x =  11.4

x = 11.4/9

now, both p and q must be integer. and no. in the form of decimal isn't integer.

so,

x = 11.4(100)/9(100)

x = 114/900
