number of students who walk to school themselves=196= 1/3 of the total students who walk to achool
=>total students who walk to school=196×3=588
fraction of students who walk to school by total students= 1-1/4-2/5= 7/20
=>students who walk to school= 7/20 of the total students
=>total students=20/7 of students who walk to school=84×20=1680
therefore, there are total of 1680 students in the school
