answer : yes, sometimes

explanation:

let we consider 4 points A,B,C,D and distance between them is 1 meter

if a man standing at A and goes to B, the his distance and displacement form the point A is 1 meter . then he trevels to D then his distance and displacement from point A is 4 meter . but this time he returned back to point A then his distance is 8 meter ( he going 4 meter A to D and returned from D to A totally 8 meters) but here we have to note one thing that there is no distance between starting point to ending point (he returned back to A) so his displacement is 0Explanation

\huge \mathfrak \blue{answer:}

Yes,an object can have zero displacement even when it has moved through a distance.This happens when final position of the object coincides with its initial position. For example,if a person moves around park and stands on place from where he started then here displacement will be zero.
