Invertebrates

1. Invertebrates, like insects and flatworms, do not have a backbone or a spinal column.

2. Small and slow moving.

Vertebrates

  • For snails ,shell is an essential protection against the sun, and against drying out , and is typically made of calcium carbonate precipitated out into an organic matrix. It is secreted by a part of the molluscan body known as the mantle.
  •      roles of fins and the tail in a fish

Their principal function is to help the fish swim. Fins located in different places on the fish serve different purposes such as moving forward, turning, keeping an upright position or stopping.
