given that,
k-th term is 5k+1,
so,
n-th term is 5n+1.
now, sum of first n terms of the AP is
S = n × (a + 5n + 1)/2
where a = 5(1) + 1
or a = 6
so,
S = n(7+5n)/2
S = (5/2)n² + (7/2)n
k-th term is 5k+1,
so,
n-th term is 5n+1.
now, sum of first n terms of the AP is
S = n × (a + 5n + 1)/2
where a = 5(1) + 1
or a = 6
so,
S = n(7+5n)/2
S = (5/2)n² + (7/2)n
