Answer

1) How is nitrous oxide different from nitrogen?

Ans:- Nitrogen is a molecule composed of two nitrogen atoms, while nitrous oxide is a chemical compound of two nitrogen molecules and one oxygen molecule. Nitrogen makes up 78% of the Earth's atmosphere and is an inert gas which is colorless, odorless and tasteless

2) Why is nitrous oxide known as laughing gas?

Ans:- The plain old nitrogen that makes up most of the atmosphere can’t be used by living things. But there’s one form of gaseous nitrogen that does have some practical uses—and pretty unusual ones, at that. It’s called nitrous oxide.

better known as laughing gas!

3)How do you think that nitrous oxide can be both a friend and foe?

Ans:-If you breathe nothing but nitrous for 10 minutes you will die, but I don't think there's any evidence that nitrous kills people if you use it recreational." But to some critics, the dangers are clear. Breathing in high concentrations of laughing gas can quickly reduce the blood's level of oxygen.
