Given,

dimensions of the rectangle are 6.4m and 2.5m

Area of the rectangle = 6.4 × 2.5 = 16m²

Let the side of square be 'y' m

According to the question,
Area of square = Area of rectangle

$= > {y}^{2} = 16 \\ \\ = > y = \sqrt{16} \\ \\ \therefore y = 4m$
