MCB is better than a fuse because of the following reasons
1. it avoids the inconvenience of connecting a new fuse wire during any circuit problem
2. it is safer due to it's quick response

All electric appliances work independently at home because all appliances at home is connected in parallel so each appliances operates independently without being affected whether other appliances are working or not

1. the mcb detects the excess current flow and immediately breaks the circuit . mcb is more sensitive to current than fuse.
2. all electrical appliances at homes are connected in parallel to the powee supply . all of them get same potential difference and they can be operated independently.
in parallel combination each appliance get pd separately irrespective of weather other appliances are working or not.
