actually our earth takes365 days and 6hours to revolve around the sun but we can't celebrate the new year after 6 hours so after every 4years this 6 hours get multiplied by 4 and forms 24 hours means one day and only February has 28 days so after every 4 years we celebrate a leap year

It takes precisely 365 1/4 days for one revolution around the sun. 1/4 of 24 hours that is 6 hours is simply ignored for the sake of convenience. Every four years these 6 hours tot up to 1 day = 24 hours. Thus, one more extra day is added to February that is the reason February has 29 days every leap year
