Given:

  • Mirror having magnification always equal to one.
  • Mirror used to concentrate sunlight in reflecting solar cooker.
  • Image can be obtained on screen.

Solution:

  • The mirror which has magnification equal to one is a PLANE MIRROR. This means that the object height is equal to image height (i.e. they are of same size).

  • Solar cookers use CONCAVE MIRRORS to concentrate sunlight at the focus which generates lots of heat. This heat can be used for cooking.

  • Images which can be protected on a screen is REAL IMAGE. Concave mirrors can produce real image only in certain cases. Whereas Plane mirrors and Convex mirrors always produce virtual image.

OPTION 2) IS CORRECT ✔️
