M1 = 1

V1 = 500ml = 0.5L

M2 = 1

V2 = 500ml = 0.5L

Let M3 be final molarity after mixing,

M1 X V1 + M2 X V2 = M3 X (V1 +V2)

1 x 0.5 + 1 x 0.5 = M3 x 1

M3 = 1 mol/L

the correct option is (1)

Answer:

1) 1 M

Explanation:

Total Moles will be 1 moles.

500 ml = 0.5 l

Thus Total Volume of Solution in Litres is 1.

Molarity = Moles of Solute/ Volume of Solution

Molarity = 1 / 1

Molarity = 1
