x-y=1

x=1+y

2(1+y)+2y=50

2+2y+2y =50

4y =50-2

4y=48

y =48/4

x/1 - 48/4 =1

4x - 48 / 4 =1

4x - 48 / 4 -1

4x - 48 = 4

4x = 48 + 4

4x = 52

X = 53 / 4 .
