x^2 +6x+9-9 -7 = 0

( x^2+6x+(3)^2-16=0

(x+3)^2 = 16

(x+3) = (16)^1/2

x+3 = (+-)4

x= 4 -3 = 1
x=-4-3 = -7

Given Quadratic equation

x² + 6x - 7 = 0

=> x² + 6x = 7

=> x² + 2 × x × 3 = 7

=> x² + 2×x×3 + 3² = 7 + 3²

=> ( x + 3 )² = 7 + 9

=> ( x + 3 )² = 16

=> x + 3 = ± √16

x = -3 ± √16

x = -3 ± 4

Therefore ,

x = -3 + 4 Or x = -3-4

x = 1 Or x = -7
