2.The measure of an angle is 18° less than its complement. Find the angle.​

=(90-x)=2x-30

=90-x=2x-30

=2x+x=90+30

=3x=120

=x=120/3

=x=40

Thus , the angle is 40°

2.

x=(90-x)-18

=x =90-x-18

=x+x=90-18

=2x=72

=x=72/2

=x=36°

Thus, the angle is 36°.
