PERIMETER OF A RECTANGLE=100CM

LENGTH=35CM

LET BREADTH OF RECT. BE X

PERIMETER OF A RECTANGLE=2(LENGTH+BREADTH)

100=2(35+x)

100= 70+2x

100-70=2x

30=2x

15=x

SO BREADTH=15

AREA=LENGTH*BREADTH

AREA=35*15

AREA=525CM

Perimeter = 100 cm
Length= 35 cm
Breadth = p/2 - l
= 100/2 - 35
= 50-35 = 15 cm
Area of the rectangle = lb
= 35 x 15
= 525 cm2

Hope it helps you....
