Two important steps take place during photosynthesis:

1) Light reactions. 2) Dark reactions.

Dark reactions are also known as the Calvin cycle. ATP and NADPH are formed by light reactions using light. An additional CO2 molecule is also formed during this, which is used by Calvin cycle, along with these reagents, to produce glucose.

Calvin cycle oxidizes NADPH to NAP+ and ATP to ADP + Pi. These reagents are then used by light reaction and are reduced to NADPH and ATP again with the help of a water molecule. In this way, photosynthesis recycles its own reaction in a series.
