The neutralization of these organic acids is done using another portion of alkaline. Thus, the hemicelluloses are dissolved into the pulping liquor.

Ans 2. Option B - Bamboo. The cell walls of the bamboo fibres have axially oriented cellulose fibrils. The hardness and the stiffness of the central portion of the cell wall is due to the differential cell wall thickening which in turn affects the tissue density.
