Answer:

(1st ) power is the rate of consumption of energy.

- P= E/T.

(2nd ) P= VI

so, P=220×5= 1100W.

then,E= VIT

E= 220×5×30= 33000J.

Hope it helps.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer:-}}}}

1) The power determines the rate at which energy is delivered by an electric current.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}

Amount of current comsumed by electric motor = 5 A

Voltage = 220 V

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{To find:-}}}}

1) Power of the motor = ?

2) Energy consumed by it in 30 sec.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}

We have a relationship between power,current and voltage.

I. e, ★ \boxed{\sf{ P = V × I}}

put the value of V and I

\implies \bold{P = 220 × 5}

\implies \mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{P = 1100 w or 1.1 kw}}}

Now,Energy consumed is given by :-

\boxed{\sf{E = P × T}}

put the value of P and T.

\implies \bold{E = 1100 × 30}

\implies \bold{E = 33,000 j or 33 kj}

hence,the power of motor is 1100 watt and the electrical energy consumed by motor in 30 sec is 33000 j.
