Monsoon generally starts in the south - Western coast of lndia by the first week of June . Every year by the 5th of June the first shower starts . Monsoon sets on 4th of June at Malabar coast , 10th June on the Andhra coast and on 13th of June in West Bengal . By the 15th of June the entire sub - continent comes under the influence of the Monsoon . This is called the" Burst of Monsoon" or on set Monsoon .

2) How does secondary hightide occur on earth's surface ?

The hightide , on the place of antipode of the place place of primary tide is called secondary hightide .

Causes: The centrifugal force results from the motion of the earth - moon system around the common center of gravity . The centrifugal then the attracting force , acting from the moon is larger than the attracting force , acting towards the center of the earth. This excess force is exerted on the water bodies on the surface of the earth facing away of the moon and the water rises into a secondary hightide .
