mitochondria are rod for oval shaped small structures. inner mitochondrion energy is released from food during respiration. hence they are also called powerhouse of the cell.
cell wall
cell wall is an outer covering of a plant cell. it is made up of carbohydrate, cellulose. it give shape to the plant cell and provide rigidity and support.
chromosome
when the cell divides the densmore separates and forms rod like structure called chromosomes. chromosomes can be seen only when a cell divide. the chromosomes carry genes.
