Diameter of each pillar = 50 cm
Radius of each pillar = 50/2 cm = 25 cm = 25/100 m = 1/4 m
Height = 4 m
Surface to be painted = Curved
Curved Surface Area of Cylinder = 2πrh
= 2×22/7×1/4×4 m2
= 44/7 m2
Cost = ₹14/m2
No. of pillars = 10
Total cost = 44/7×14×10 = ₹880
Answer: Total cost is ₹880.
Hope it helps !!!
