Football
Football is an outdoor sport which is played on a grass ground. The standard measures for the football ground are 120m x 90m.In a football team, there are 22 players in all i.e 11 playing and 11 substitutes.
The main aim of the game is to kick and take the ball to the opponent's side and score a goal by kicking the ball in the goalpost that is 10m in length.
Football is a game of teamwork. If your team co-operates well, theres a 60% sureity that you will win. The other 40% depends on your game. The basic moves of the game are dribbling, passing, tackling and shooting. Here, dribbling means to move with the ball, passing means to give the ball to your teamfellow, tackling means to take the ball from the opponent and shooting means to kick the ball with strength. These are just the basics, however the advanced moves are big in number. Namely, loft, cross, lob etc. There are also some skill moves namely la roulette, rainbow, hocus pocus, fake pass etc.
The world level competition of football is organized by FIFA (Federal International Football Association). It is held once in four years. The next FIFA world cup is scheduled for 2018 in Russia, the last time it was in Brazil in 2014 and the winner was Germany.
The history of football is really exiting. Many great players like Diego Maradona, Roberto, Pelè, zidane, David beckham are well known and missed. The current famous personalities are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and so on....
The new rising stars are Mesut Ózil, Paul Pogba, Anthony Griezamann etc..
