Step-by-step explanation:

Let the adjacent sides be 5x and 6x

Perimeter of the parallelogram = 2(l + b)

=> 88 = 2(5x + 6x)

=> 88 = 2(11x)

=> 88 = 22x

=> x = 4cm

The two sides are 5x = 20cm

And, 6x = 24cm
