a) ans: ◾ when we add potassium permanganate crystals into beaker A containing water...it will immediately dissolve in water and change its colour to purple.

◾ when we add honey to beaker B , containing water...it will not dissolve immediately and we wouldn't be able to observe any difference in the colour.

b) ans: It can be observed that the change is occured in Beaker A more quickly.

c) The process involved in the observed change is called diffusion.

d) ans : we can observe that both the mixtures take different amounts of time because the kinetic energy of the particles depends on the density.
