%w/w = weight of solute ÷ Weight of solution×100

Weight of solution = density × volume of solution

= 1.2×100= 120 gm

Therefore %w/w = 10÷120×100= 100÷12= 50÷6=25÷3=8.1

Given,

Amount of NaCl=10g

Amount of solution=100ml

Density of the solution=1.2g/ml

To Find,

w/w% of solution.

Solution,

As we know,

%w/w = (weight of solute/ Weight of solution)×100

Also,

Weight of solution = density × volume of solution

                                = 1.2×100= 120 gm

Therefore,

%w/w = (10/120)×100= 100/12

           =8.1

Hence, w/w% of the solution is 8.1.
