Solution ➡
Let the present age of Rani be :- x
Let the present age of Komal be :- y
x = 2 / 5 × y
➡ x = 2y / 5
Ratio =
x : Pooja's age = 3 : 5
➡ Pooja's age = 5x / 3 __________________( i )
y : Pooja's age = 2 : 3
➡ Pooja's age = 3y : 2 __________________( ii )
Equating both the equations ( i ) and ( ii ) we get,
5x : 3 = 3y : 2
➡ 10x = 9y
➡ 10 × 2y / 5 = 9y
➡ 20y / 5 = 9
