Thus, total no of plants in 25 rows is calculated by -

Sn = 1 + 2 + 3 + .... + 25

Using formula Sn=n(n+1)/2

Sn = 25 × 26 / 2

Sn = 325

Total 325 tress are planted during tree plantation program.
