Step-by-step explanation:

height by which water rise =

{(50*30*40) - (12000)}/(50*30) = 32 cm

Answer:

The height will the water rise is 32 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : 12 litres of water is poured into an aquarium of dimensions 50 cm length, 30 cm breadth and 40 cm height.

To find : By what height (in cm )will the water rise?

Solution :

The volume of the aquarium is given by,

V=L\times B\times H

V=50\times 30\times 40

V=60000cm^3

Liters of water poured in the aquarium = 12 liters = 12000 cm³.

The volume remain in the aquarium is

v=60000-12000

v=48000

So, The dimension of water rise will be 50\times 30\times h

Height by which water rise will be

48000=50\times 30\times h

h=\frac{48000}{50\times 30}

h=32cm

Therefore, The height will the water rise is 32 cm.
