Given ,

Number of moles of N2 atom = 0.5 mol

Molecular mass of N2 atom = 14 u

We know that ,

 \sf \pink{ \fbox{ \fbox{Moles =  \frac{given  \: mass }{molecular  \: mass} }}}

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \hookrightarrow 0.5 =  \frac{given \: mass}{14}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  given \: mass = 0.5 \times 14 \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow   given \: mass = 7.0  \: g

Hence , the required value is 7 g

Remmember :

Nitrogen exists as diatomic molecule (N2)
