Answer:

Cost of 120 kg of Potato ,if cost of one Kg of Potato is Rs 24= 120 × 24 = Rs 2880

Cost of 80 Kg of Potato, if cost of one Kg of Potato is Rs 24

\begin{gathered}=24\times 80\\\\=1920\end{gathered}

=24×80

=1920

Cost of 40 Kg of Potatoes =40 × 24=Rs 960

When Sold at 50 % profit

Selling price of 80 Kg of Potatoes

\begin{gathered}=1920+1920\times \frac{50}{100}\\\\=1920+960=2880\end{gathered}

=1920+1920×

100

50

=1920+960=2880

And remaining , 40 Kg at the loss of 25%.

Selling price of Remaining 40 Kg of Potatoes

\begin{gathered}=960-960\times \frac{25}{100}\\\\=960-240=720\end{gathered}

=960−960×

100

25

=960−240=720

Total Selling price = Selling price of 80 Kg of Potatoes at a profit of 50% +Selling price of 40 Kg of Potatoes at a loss of 25%

= Rs 2880 + Rs 720

= Rs 3600

→(Selling Price > Cost Price) of 120 Kg Potatoes

Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

=3600 - 2880

= Rs 720
