Therefore the acetic acid in new solution is=12.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, 15 liter acetic acid solution contains 20 % acetic acid and remaining solution water.

The amount of acetic acid in 15 liter acetic acid solution is =\frac{20}{100} \times 15   liter

                                                                                                   = 3  liter

The amount of water in 15 units acetic acid solution is= (15-3)  liter

                                                                                         =12 liter

In the new solution 7 liter of deionized water mixed.

Therefore the total amount of water is = (12+7) liter =21 liter

Then total amount of acid solution is = (21+3) liter = 24  liter

The amount of acetic acid in the solution remains same.

Therefore the acetic acid in new solution is =\frac{\textrm{amount of acid}}{\textrm{amount of solution}} \times 100 \%

                                                                           =\frac{3}{24}\times 100\%

                                                                            =12.5%
