Answer: In Samoa, 61% of children aged 6 to 23 months, 23.2% of children 2-4 years old, 10% of those aged 5-12 years and 20.7% of adolescents aged 13 to 19 are anaemic. In recent years however Samoa has developed its health services: there is universal access to primary healthcare, the quality of housing, water and sanitary infrastructure is satisfactory, as are vaccinations and maternity and infant healthcare.
