Persons : Boxes : Days

15 : 35 : 7
x : 65 : 5

x/15 = 65/35 × 7/5
x = 65/35 × 7/5 × 15
[ x = 39 persons ]

Answer:

39  laborers can fill 65 boxes in 5 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : 15  laborers can fill 35 boxes in 7 days.

To Find :.how many laborers can fill 65 boxes in 5 days?

Solution:

We are given that 15  laborers can fill 35 boxes in 7 days.

Let x be the number of laborers who can fill 65 boxes in 5 days

So, 15:35:7

      x:65:5

\Rightarrow \frac{x}{15}=\frac{65}{35} \times \frac{7}{5}

\Rightarrow \frac{x}{15}=2.6

\Rightarrow \frac{x}{15}=2.6 \times 15

\Rightarrow x=39

Hence 39  laborers can fill 65 boxes in 5 days
