16. The set of the consecutive odd numbers 1,3,5,7..., N has a sum of 400. How
many numbers are in the set ?​

daspragati: if I add two odd nos. say 1 & 3 we'll get 4
If I add 3 odd nos. say 1, 3 & 5 I'll get 9
If I add 4 odd nos. say 1, 3, 5 and 7 I'll get 16
now if you observe the sequence when we add even no. of odd nos. we get an even perfect square
going back to your question, 400 is a perfect square, so the square root of 400 will be 20. Hence, the correct answer will be 20.
