19. At the foot of a mountain the elevation of its summit is 45'. After ascending 1000 m
toward the mountain up a slope of 30° inclination the elevation is found to be 60°. Find
the height of the mountain.​

In the given fig. AB represent the height of mountain say h. In ∆OCE,

Sin30°=CE/OC

1/2 =CE/1000

CE=500

Cos30°=OE/OC

√3/2=OE/1000

OE = 500√3
