Let 2 +√3 /5 is rational no.

2 +√3 /5 = p/q (where p and q are co

prime and q ≠ 0)

2 +√3 = 5p/q

√3 = 5p/q - 2

In LHS, there is Irrational no.

And in RHS, there is rational no.

Thus this is not possible.

This contradict arise due to our wrong assumption. Thus, our assumption is wrong

2 +√3 /5 is Irrational no.

Hence proved.

.

Hope it helps!!
