L.H.S= 2×(-4+5)
= 2×-4 + 2×5
= -8 + 10
=2

R.H.S= 2×(-4) + (-2)×5
= -8 + -10
= -18

L.H.S is not equal to R.H.S

HeyA!!
This is associative property.
This property states that
x \times (y + z) = x \times y + x \times z
Here is the Verification.Now, Simplifying LHS
2 \times ( - 4 + 5) \\ 2 \times (1) \\ 2 \times 1 \\ 2
Now simplifying RHS

2 \times ( - 4) + ( - 2) \times 5 =  - 8 - 10 \\  =  - 18
RHS and LHS are not equal. Hence they are not satisfying associative property.
Because LHS contains different numbers.
