Types of Algebraic Expressions

There are five types of algebraic expressions.

1. Monomial => A monomial is an algebraic expressions that has only one non zero term.

Example :- 2/7a^2 is a monomial in one variable K.

2. Binomial=> A Binomial is an algebraic expressions that has only two non zero term.

Example :- x+y is a binomial in two variables m and n

3. Trinomial=> A Trinomial is an algebraic expressions that has only three non zero term.

Example :- x+y+z is a Trinomial in three variables x, y and z

4. Polynomial=> A Polynomial is an algebraic expressions that has one two and three and more than non zero term.

Example :-
