Step-by-step explanation:

arrange in ascending or descending order

34, 38, 42, 44, 46, 48, 54, 55, 63, 70

therefore median is (46+48)/2 = 47

ANSWER:-

GIVEN DATA:- 38,70,48,34,42,55,63,46,54,44

We have to arrange the data in ascending order

34,38,42,44,46,48,54,55,63,70

Number of n term=10(which is even

so,

⟶mediam = ( \frac{n }{2}+1 )th +n/2\: observation \\  \\ ⟶median = ( \frac{10+ 2}{2} )+ 10/2 th\: observation \\  \\ ⟶median = 6th +5th\: observation

according to data number of 6th and 5th position is 48 and 46

Hence:-

median=48+46

=94
