p(X)= 8x²+MX+15

p(3)=8(3)²+3M+15

=8*9+15+3m

-3m=72+15

m=87/-3

m=-29

eqn=8x²-29x+15

by middle term splitting method

=8x²-5x-24x+15

=8x(x-3)-5(x-3)

=(8x-5)(x-3)
