The margin is the boundary where text normally begins. From that point, if the text is moved to the right, it is indented.Sometimes, the beginning of a paragraph is indented in a letter or a book. This paragraph is an example of how the first line is indented and the rest of the lines of the paragraph begin at the left-hand margin. There is also a margin on the right-hand side of the page, not to mention the top and the bottom of the page also have margins. Indenting tends to highlight a line or an entire section of text may be indented to set it apart from the rest of the body of text.
