If I were born a hundred years ago
If I were born a hundred years ago I would have been born in 1900. At that point of time we Indian's were living under the British rule and were struggling to gain our freedom from them. I would have wanted to be a part of the freedom struggle and help my fellow countrymen gain their independence from the crushing rule of the Britishers. I would have people like Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahatma Gandhi and would have tried to do everything that was possible of me. The living situations a hundred years ago were vastly different from those today and the freedoms afforded to women were few. Another fight that I would have fought alongside other women was to gain more freedom and rights for women. I would have loved to be a part of the fight to make education available to women. The early 1900s were a time of great many changes and if I had been a part of them I would have certainly been very proud.
