In series the effective resistance is R1 + R2, therefore the effective resistance is 4+2= 6 ohm and in parallel 1/effective resistance =1/R1 +1/R2 which is 1/Effective resistance =1/4+1/2=3/4. There fore the effective resistance in parallel combination will be 4/3 ohm. Please mark as brainliest
