• Testes are considered to be a component of both reproductive and the endocrine system.

• They are responsible for producing male gametes called sperms.

The latter is used to fertilize the female gametes.

• Since testes also belong to the endocrine system, it produces testosterone hormones that help in formulating the secondary characters of the males.
