What is migration ?
Answer : A person or an animal is move from one place to another place are known as migration .
How do birds migrate ?
Answer : Birds migrate to move from areas of low or decreasing resources to areas of high or increasing resources. The two primary resources being sought are food and nesting locations . As winter approaches and the availability of insects and other food drops, the birds move south again.
When people or animals started to move from one place to another in order to get food, job (in case of humans only) , or shelter for always or provisional depends on the quantity of resources they seek for, is known as Migration.
Migration is classified into two broad categories which is listed below :-
- Internal Migration
- External Migration
As the name suggest migration which occur within a nation is referred as internal Migration. it is also known as immigration.
Just opposite of that the migration which occur externally or outside a nation is referred as External migration. it is very common practice of migration in Human beings.
Birds usually migrate according to the seasons. The birds have potetiality to identify the directions like north to south poles through earth magnetic fields.
The Birds have a special mineral Named as Magnetite located just above their beaks.
This special substance helps them to identify the directions.
