Given, length of 2d Given, length of 2 sides 5cm , 8cm

now length of 3rd side suppose as x

and the given perimeter is 19

now = Perimeter of Triangle = 1st side + 19cm = 5cm + 8cm + x

19cm = 13cm + x

19cm - 13cm = x

x = 6cm

therefore the 3rd side will be 6 cm

In Triangle:

Perimeter = a + b + c a = 5 cm

19 cm = 5 + 8 + c b = 8 cm

19 cm = 13 + c c = ?

( carry over 13 to 19. so it becomes 19 - 13)

c = 19 - 13

c = 6 cm

∴The length of third side is 6 cm
