 \frac{770}{ \frac{4x}{5}}  -  \frac{7720}{x}  = 3.5

 \frac{3850}{4x}  -  \frac{770}{x}  =  \frac{7}{2}

(3850 - 3080) = 14x

14x = 770

x =   \frac{770}{14}

Hence, the original price is Rs.55 per kg.
