• People can choose representatives  whom they like .

• The elected representatives  are accountable to the people , because they elect them and can change them .

• In democracy representatives are elected by means of free and fair electoral voting .

• In democracy people enjoys certain rights and freedom .

• In democracy the decision made are quality decisions , because each decision is made after proper debates and discussions .

• It provides a method to deal with differences and conflict among people.

• In democratic form of rule the people can live together in harmony .
